Main Geologist
Dmitrii Balykov serves as Main Geologist and Mining Engineer in the Geological Exploration Department at PLX GEO COMPANY LIMITED. He leads geological fieldwork, exploration planning, data collection, and technical analysis to support the company's mineral exploration and mining engineering projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Geological Survey & Exploration: Plans field investigations, evaluates mineralized zones, conducts site assessments, and identifies prospective exploration areas.
- Mapping & Drilling Support: Coordinates geological mapping, monitors RC drilling operations, reviews drill-hole data, and manages geological logging.
- Sample Management & Quality Control: Supervises sample collection, maintains chain of custody and numbering, and prepares geological samples for lab analysis.
- Data Analysis & Mining Support: Builds geological models, integrates spatial and field data to support engineering decisions, and drafts progress and field reports.
- Field Safety & Leadership: Oversees field personnel, guides junior technical staff, and ensures HSE protocols are strictly followed during operations.
